BEIJING, MAY 19 (DNA) — India’s attempts to mislead the international community about the prevailing grim human rights situation received a major setback, as China has announced that it will not attend the upcoming G20 meeting being hosted by India in Srinagar.

Chinese foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin during his regular briefing in Beijing, today, said, China firmly opposes holding any form of G20 meetings in disputed territories, and will not attend such meetings.

The Narendra Modi-led Indian government has planned to host the G20 meeting on tourism in Srinagar from May 22 to May 24. The move by the Modi regime is an attempt to hide its atrocities on the people of occupied Kashmir and to show that ‘all is well’ in the territory. — DNA
