Dozens of foreign tourists visit recreational, historical sites of Ghazni

GHAZNI: Dozens of foreign tourists have visited recreational and historical sites of the country’s central province of Ghazni, the provincial Information and Culture Department said in a statement Sunday. The Director of the provincial information and culture department Mawlavi Hamedullah Nesar said that after the resumption of power by the IEA and ensuring countrywide security, the number of foreign and domestic tourists visiting the historical sites and natural attractions of the province has recently increased, as dozens of foreign tourists including four women from France, Germany and Pakistan, have visited the recreational sites and places of the province in the past days, according the statement.

“The foreign tourists are treated as a guest and will be provided with any necessary touristic facilities by the provincial officials of information and culture department and the local people in the province, as well as they will play a key role in bringing the countries’ culture and relations closer to each other,” the statement quoted Mawlavi Nesar as saying. Meanwhile, the foreign tourists said that after the takeover of Afghanistan by the IEA and ensuring countrywide security, they came here and will visit all historical sites and places of the country, particularly, recreational sites and natural attractions of Ghazni province, the statement added. Based on figures of the provincial information and culture department hundreds of foreign and thousands of domestic tourists have visited the historical and recreational sites and places of the province in the first five months of the current solar year. Better security and touristic facilities have caused increasing number of tourists visiting the country this year.
