Envoy Emin  Čohodarević visits Islamabad Model School for Girls

 ISLAMABAD: As part of the “12 Days of Peace” campaign organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with the UN Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Emin Čohodarević visited the Islamabad Model School for Girls here on Thursday. He was accompanied by Raja Rashid Ali, Secretary of the Ministry of Education, and Faizan Badar, Secretary of the Federal Tax Administration of Pakistan.

During the visit, Ambassador Čohodarević toured the school’s classrooms and participated in an IT class, engaging warmly with students and teachers. He delivered a brief lecture highlighting the unique aspects of Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized the critical role of education in fostering peace and promoting humanity.

The ambassador  said that It is truly inspiring to see the level of understanding and passion displayed by the students here their ability to grasp complex theories and apply them in practice is indicative of the high-quality education they are receiving. 

As a token of goodwill, Ambassador Čohodarević presented an LCD screen to the school’s director, Ruqija Parveen. This equipment, donated by Dr. Husein Kavazović, Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will enhance the school’s capacity for sharing educational video content.

The visit reinforced the commitment of both nations to the ideals of peace and education, celebrating the power of learning in bridging cultures and fostering mutual understanding.
