KABUL: Ilham Mammadov, Azerbaijan ambassador to Afghanistan presented his credentials to Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan. For the first time in the history of Azerbaijan -Afghanistan relations the flag of Azerbaijan is flying in Kabul. The Embassy of Azerbaijan has commenced its mission.
Ilham has also served in Pakistan for many years. Apart from other languages, Ilham has full command over Urdu language as well. During his stay in Pakistan he contributed significantly towards promotion of bilateral relations.-DNA
