PTI blasts Mohsin Naqvi, seeks immediate restoration of ‘X’

ISLAMABAD, JUL 23 (DNA) — Following heavy rainfall in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to remain alert.

Minister called CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and directed him to expedite the drainage process under his supervision, ensuring timely drainage of water from low-lying areas.

He also directed that relevant officers and staff must remain in the field until the drainage work is completed.

While directing regular monitoring of Islamabad’s streets, drains, and waterways, he emphasized ensuring water drainage at underpasses and other locations.  He also instructed traffic police to proactively perform their duties to maintain traffic flow. He stated that additional resources should be deployed in the water drainage efforts. — DNA
