ISLAMABAD: A meeting was held between Executive Director, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Dr. Nasir Khan and delegation of Overseas Employment Promoters in NAVTTC headquarters Islamabad. Issues regarding export of certified skilled work force and their legal migration to the destination countries were discussed in the meeting.
Executive Director NAVTTC, Dr. Nasir Khan apprised the delegation about NAVTTC’s initiatives to facilitate the Overseas Employment Promoters, which will be helpful to provide internationally recognized skilled workforce to the destination countries. In this regard, detailed presentation on the creation of National Employment Exchange Tool (NEXT), establishment of 123 job placement centers across Pakistan and ten country of destination specific facilitation centers was given to the Overseas Employment Promoters . Further, the Executive Director highlighted the significance of more than hundred centers registered under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) initiative to certify the uncertified skilled work force.
The Executive Director also apprised the delegation that elaborate arrangements have been made by NAVTTC for sending skilled workforce in legal and transparent manner which may be properly availed by Overseas Employment Promoters
The Executive Director assured full facilitation to the delegation in adopting these initiatives to ensure the legal migration of certified skilled workforce abroad. The members of delegation appreciated the NAVTTC’s initiatives and assured full cooperation.
