JOHANNESBURG, DEC 11: Mohammad Rizwan-led Pakistan headed to Johannesburg to take on South Africa in the remaining fixtures of the T20I series.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, the second and third T20Is will take place in Centurion and Johannesburg, respectively. The national squad will take part in the practice session tomorrow.
Pakistan got drubbed at the hands of the Proteas in the first T20I yesterday (Tuesday) in Durban as George Linde and David Miller snatched the game away from the visitors.
It was Miller’s show with the bat, who clubbed eight sixes and four boundaries in his match-winning knock, before Linde joined the party by smoking four sixes and picking up four wickets to dismantle the Pakistan batting lineup.
Despite Rizwan’s circumspect knock and Saim Ayub’s early onslaught, none of the Pakistani batters found the momentum, and South Africa’s 184 turned out to be too much for the Green Shirts.
Pakistan will take on South Africa in the second T20I on Friday.
