Pakistan’s population crosses 220 million

ISLAMABAD, NOV 15 (DNA) — The Bureau of Statistics has released new statistics on the country’s population and revealed that the population of Pakistan has crossed the figure of 220 million.

The Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday issued its data regarding the country’s population and said it has reached 22,04,25,254. As per the national data, the number of males in Pakistan has reached 11,16,93,464 while the number of women has increased to 10,87,31,790.

The population of urban areas in Pakistan is 8,10,14,134 and the population of rural areas is 13,94,11,124. It is worth mentioning that according to the 2017 census, the population of Pakistan was more than 207.6 million. Pakistan’s population crosses 220 million. =DNA
