ISLAMABAD, SEP 01 (DNA) – The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reduced its domestic fares on one-way travel to any destination in the country on the eve of National Defence Day.
A PIA spokesperson said on Wednesday that the one-way ticket to any destination would be Rs5,985. The offer will be valid from September 1 to Sept 7.
Earlier, the PIA made headlines following a long tradition of assisting with global humanitarian efforts, a special PIA B-777 cargo flight operated to Mazar-i-Sharif to deliver essential medicines and supplies from WHO. This was the first-ever humanitarian aid flight to land in Afghanistan to assist Afghan brethren.
PIA CEO Ahad Malik said, “Feeling humbled by the privilege bestowed upon PIA by awarding gold medals to my two captains, Capt Uzair Khan (T.J) and Capt Bijrani by the honourable President of Pakistan on exhibiting professionalism, crisis management and valour in the face of chaos. Bravo my team.” = DNA
