PTI leaders exchange barbs as Babar Awan allowed to meet with founder

RAWALPINDI: A new controversy came to light on Tuesday after Babar Awan was allowed to meet with the PTI founder Imran Khan. The meeting between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi was due today.
Tensions arose between the legal team and the jail administration when Babar Awan was allowed to meet.
Salman Akram Raja, while talking to the jail staff, said, “You should establish discipline.” Babar Awan’s name is not included in our list. Why did you call him inside?
PTI secretary general was of the opinion that only the names given by the party should be sent for the meeting. Bushra Bibi also instructed to include the names of Salman Safdar and Usman Gul.
He further explained that this entire matter had been settled in the High Court yesterday, so only those six people whose names were already provided should be allowed to meet,
However, the jail administration finally allowed Babar Awan, Niazullah Niazi, and Salman Akram Raja to meet, in addition to this, Zaheer Abbas Chaudhry, Naeem Haider Panjhuta, and Salman Safdar were also allowed to meet.
