Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, Culture and Heritage Attaullah Tarar on Wednesday discussed proposed plan and arrangements for celebrating August 14 as Independence Day with the Capital Development Authority (CDA) c Chairman CDA Mohammad Ali Randhawa during his visit to CDA. Chairman CDA gave him a warm welcome. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner (ICT), Administrator (MCI) and senior officers of CDA.
Discussions were held on celebrating the function as “AzadiFest”.It was done with the aim of reviving the spirit of patriotism among the people of Pakistan. This year’s “AzadiFest” will include flag hoisting, musical concerts, food festival, exhibition of different Pakistani cultures, various shows, fireworks and Islamabad’s first drone show.
