IESCO notifies power suspension programme

ISLAMABAD, JUN 14: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

According to an IESCO spokesman, power supply from the Pir Sohawa feeder under the Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

Under the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity supply from the Rehmatabad-I, Takbeer-I, Chaklala and Kot Jabbi feeders will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

Similarly, under the Rawalpindi City Circle, consumers receiving electricity from the Sector-IV, APHS, PAF, Dhok Chaudrian, Peshawar Road, Millatabad, Cheering Cross, NRC, Cobe Line and Askari-XI feeders will face power outages from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

In Chakwal Circle, power supply from the Jamalwal and Mengan feeders will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Meanwhile, under the GSO Circle, electricity supply in 132-kV New Wah-POF transmission line along with the related earth switch, will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Similarly, maintenance work on the 132-kV Chakwal-Bhagwal-Talagang, 132-kV Kahuta City-Palandri and 132-kV New Wah-Bahter More transmission lines, along with related earth switches, will be carried out from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, resulting in temporary power suspension in the respective areas and their surroundings.

IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
